Traffic Notifier is an Android app developed by Masaru (2-1-12, Hagoromo-cho, Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan). Others apps created by Masaru are: SmartMemo.

Traffic Notifier first became available on 21 Apr 2016. It is estimated that Traffic Notifier has been downloaded between 10000 and 50000 times from the Play Store.

Traffic Notifier 3.0.3 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_SYSTEM_ALERT, shown on top of all other apps. Very few apps should use this permission; these windows are intended for system-level interaction with the user.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
